Fell in love with this song the first time I heard it. At glance, it’s obvious that this is a demanding song, spanning a wide range of octaves. Another thing is, it has quite complex harmony parts for both male and female vocal. I really want to cover this song, but I don’t know when I am ready enough for it.
The harmony arrangement might be difficult for beginner vocalists (like me!) to sing by just hearing the song. After hours of searching, I found a video on NND with vocal score displayed in sync with the melody (forgot the link, sorry :p ).
Since I have nothing else to do, I rewrite the score, making small changes (such as rewriting Kaito’s part in bass clef). And now I will share it with you, for those who need it 🙂
Working with Lilypond
Well, the first purpose I write this sheet was to familiarize myself with Lilypond. It is a unique score writing application. Take a look at this picture to see how a score is made (‘engraved’) with Lilypond.
Those code in colors are a part of source file which will be translated by Lilypond into PDF sheet music, which is seen behind. Due to a bug in the software, the PDF output is a bit flawed (something wrong with PDF anti-aliasing and the underlying TeX typesetting engine). If you want a better result, I recommend you to compile into PS output instead of the default PDF, and print directly from it.
Here’s the Lilypond source code if you want to compile it yourself.
